This blog is a snapshot view of the life of an active farther (of one so far). 

The idea is to bring a perspective to the role a father plays in todays society. I aim to learn and exchange tips, tricks and experiences while reviewing current services and products available today to help the modern-day parent. 

Bringing together the community of dads as we battle through sleepless nights, nappies and work deadlines, I hope to create a resource for new dads and dads-to-be who need to learn about the multitude of emotional, psychological and general know-how of cries, coughs, sicks and feeds along with juggling relationships, work and - if you can get it - sleep…

The idea for BlogFather came about is I have realised through my new adventure into parenthood that most things out there are aimed at the mother and mother-to-be.

Being made redundant had forced me to start my own business prior to that day when, several tests later, it was confirmed that our lives were about to change forever. I'm today trying to eke out a living through a number of creative businesses as I enjoy the journey of parenthood with my wife and son.

Everything I write here is about my experiences as a father and all I ask is that you enjoy the journey with me, share your thoughts and experiences and, if you wish, offer helpful hints and tips for others to learn from too.
